Using Ranger Alcohol Inks isn't difficult, but they're a bit like using watercolors as far as controlling them. After lots of practice, I was able to place the colors exactly where I wanted them, & with a bit of intuitive watercorlor technique, I was able to actually make flowers that looked like specific flowers by adding some line work with a .01 Micron pen.

your flowers look just totally fabulous on the dominos. Before you ink the tiles do you already know where your flowers will be? This is something I would love to try.
ReplyDeleteI lay down the background colors with an idea of where I want the flowers to be & leave a blank space for them. Then put on the flower colors. Once the flowers are there, I use a micron pen to give them more definition.
